My friends, I don't think I can be saved and am willing to live with that because I have a very strong wife and children. How can we as an industry let this sort of thing happen and stand by and watch. For those that actually believe in our industry.... help me make a stand. You are so right Matt, it's the same in the music industry. The duds get the money and the fame, the real creative geniuses usually die poor. It's time for all that to change. Spread the word. Call the media. Tell them that I am ready to hand over evidence, emails, contracts. A media release will be going out to the entire Aus media. If you want to help then start writing to papers, talk about it on blogs. Help start the NEW AUSTRALIAN industry!! The real creatives are those that have been forgotten, stand up now and you'll always have a place...WHO DARES WINS..!

Matt Norman watch as they lose bikes, toys, furniture, cars and finally their own family home so that we can scrape only enough for food. David Redman takes his wife and children on an amazing holiday in Queensland... All of these people who have helped David are all the same people who are doing "Charlie and Boots". I want everyone to boycott that film.

Salute ended up winning awards around the World, continues to try for a sale in O.S countries and yet I have lost absolutely everything. I have been threatened on numerous occassions by David saying that he knows more people in the industry than I do and he will make sure I never make a film here again, The KKK want me dead for standing up for black rights, SPAA want to protect him because he's a mate, and my kids>>>

Matt Norman Then since that, got another grant from Film Victoria to keep his company going, me paying off his Film Victoria debts from a film I had nothing to do with, and got several million more plus a new producer offset to make a film with his buddy Paul Hogan.

I have no other way to do this. I have been forced to do this. I am sick and tired of watching the fear in my childrens eyes when we continue to lose everything we've worked so hard for. Take me to court and I'll make this such a bigger platform that my justice will be to see these people in jail for what they have done to Australian tax payers and the Australian industry. Matt Norman 8 years of my life on the film about my famous uncle who sadly and tragically died during the making of this film. I invested $252,500 into the project so that David Redman could say that he put a Sales Advance (telling ffc that it was his money he put in), resigning from the company leaving me over $500k in debt, $115k tax bill, No car, no family home and still paying back Paramount pictures $200k for P&A

Yes the movie continues to fill the pockets of Instinct Entertainment, Paramount Pictures and the FFC/Screen Australia. I have not yet been paid... in 2 years@!!

by the way, SALUTE was Number one at the Australian box office last year for an Aussie Doco. Strange that I haven't seen a cent of it.

Matt Norman I have made dozens of approaches to FFC, Film Victoria, Peter Garrett (the minister of the arts) to have these claims fully investigated. Nothing.... 24 months..... Nothing.!!!!! Tax Payers money being fraudulently taken... no investigation!!

I complained to Ross Matthews manager at the time and he was going to do a full investigation... 4 days later he was either sacked or resigned and Ross Matthews took over his job...!!!!! So Ross Matthews was the person who was investigating Ross Matthews.

Matt Norman I have made a list of 45 breaches of fraud and criminal deception and made official complaints to the Crime Commission, Federal Police, Screen Australian, Film Victoria, Peter Garrett and more recently SPAA (thinking SPAA would represent me as I paid them over $3k Production levy). No responses!!! SPAA said that David is a paying member so they have to protect him.

Matt Norman David Redman then went to Cannes, American Film Market, New York supposedly to sell Salute. Yes, he again used SALUTE budget for his expenses even though he was getting commission as a sales agent. I later found out that Redman had also been given another grant from Film Victoria to attend AFM of around $30k while also taking the same amount from my budget. Double dipping....

This is incredible, I have read it all so far. Matt, you have no choice but to take a Stand. You are a brave man, much like your uncle I'm sure. Share you're story with the media, this is out right corruption that is being ignored by the officials. Someone has to be held responsible for this wrong done to you. Matt Norman initially when the $2M came from the FFC, David had it put into his personal bank account where it stayed for over 3 months earning him an amazing amount of personal interest. I finally after months of fighting them got to look at my own accounting books to see that the government funding was not in my company account but in his own personal account. He switched it back keeping all interest. FFC did nothing...

Matt Norman David Redman also put himself and his wife on as Sales Agent, Domestic Distributor, International Distributor, Lawyer, Producer and Executive Producers under his companies... Instinct Distribution, Instinct Entertainment, Instinct Eden Rock etc etc. THen used the budget to pay for all of his so called expenses...

Matt Norman all of this and I was getting money to pay back investors... REAL investors. Salute was the first film to get the Producer offset of 40% of the budget to go back to the producers. David Redman needed to pay back his own loans from other films and had the new Paul Hogan Film to get more funding for. He then Gave back the FFC $600k of my money...

I have spent 8 years making this film and got no production funding but David needed $2M to finish the project.???? On the application he started charging hundreds of thousands of dollars to his friends to put their name on the project, spending hundreds of thousands on his staff, his wife and his co-partner....

Matt Norman When I realized I spoke up and David said "This is just an application". Yes a legal document. David also said that he needed to show that his company was backing it to get the funding. I wrote an email to Ross Matthews to declare that I was the producer and that the funding was for my production company post production costs. This was agreed..........

Matt Norman I then formed SALUTE THE MOVIE PTY LTD with Redman and his clan, Dean Murphy, Shana Levine and David Redman. This was going ok until I started seeing a few interesting emails. I was the 60% shareholder of Salute The Movie and company director, I am also the writer, director and producer of the film Salute. David Redman made an application to FFC under his company name for the $2m saying he was the producer..........

Yes, Salute is now all mine. You can't beat a dead dog though. Redman and Screen Australia used it and cleaned it out.

Matt Norman Ok... here goes. David Redman and Shana Levine at Instinct Entertainment and I started a co-production after I brought SALUTE FULLY COMPLETED to him to be sales agent. On a completed film he then went for FFC / FILMVIC Funding and I recieved $2M of tax payers money to help puchase critical rights of archival footage.........
